Mobile: free caravan parking facilities |

The caravan park with free facilities for eight caravans is located directly on the banks of the river at the edge of the city park – the "Graftanlagen" – and at the same time only a few minutes on foot to the city centre. Special service: the fresh water supply and disposal amenities can also be used without a surcharge: fees are only charged for the power supply. There is a kiosk directly opposite for your small needs, together with information about the city and its leisure activities. With the parking permit that you get in our office at the City Hall, you can stay one week for free, each additional day will cost 10,- €. You can also find boats for hire, miniature golf, the GraftTherme leisure pool and a skate park, as well as stylish cafés and restaurants. The caravan park can be extended to take up to 100 caravans for club meetings. Simply ask us about it. |

Concentrated: conferences and congresses |

The Nordwolle premises, where Wilhelminian industrial architecture and pioneering branches meet, is home to the com.media venue. With its large, open-plan hall that can take up to 800 guests together with smaller conference rooms, com.media offers the perfect setting for company presentations, panel discussions, conferences, fashion shows and other events. The technical equipment and other services such as catering can be tailored individually to specific requirements.
The Hanse-Wissenschaftskolleg (Institute for Advanced Study), HWK, is a non-profit foundation organised by the German federal states of Lower Saxony and Bremen and by the City of Delmenhorst. It promotes collaboration among internationally renowned scientists and fosters development of the next up-and-coming generation, while at the same time enhancing the research potential of the universities and research institutions in the region. Scientific conferences, for example on marine and climate research or social sciences, are a focal aspect of the HWK's activities. About 20 international conferences are held here every year. Offering outstanding media facilities and a conference room for 80 people which can be divided up for smaller working groups, the HWK offers a professional setting for scientific and research events. |

Central: how to get to Delmenhorst |

Excellent traffic links make it easy to get to Delmenhorst. Coming by car, you can reach the city from a northerly direction via the motorway A28 with three central junctions after taking the A1 motorway from Hamburg and Bremen or from Osnabrück. Good signposting and a modern parking guidance system bring you reliably to where you want to go in the city centre. The well developed main roads B 212 and B 213 also take you straight into the city. The modern central bus station (ZOB) provides reliable connections to the railways operated by Deutsche Bahn and to the regional Nordwestbahn. Visitors travelling by air will also have no problems: Bremen airport is less than half an hour away by bus or car. |
